Tom Duck & Harry first appeared as a "daily" strip in about 1967, although it never came out on a daily basis. It lay relatively dormant for about 17 years until the cartoonist managed to draw a pig and a duck he liked. This sampler contains a few of a hundred or so Samples authored before the start of the adventure version late in 2004, plus many of the more recent strips from 2006 on.
When they are not on away on some adventure (see The Adventures of Tom Duck & Harry), Tom and Harry spend an inordinate amount of time on Farmer Mac's front porch discussing this, that, and the other, much to the chagrin of Mrs. Mac, who has to clean the rocking chair.
